• Roll out of new secure certificate of Indian Status Card delayed. - January 22, 2010

• The Skidegate Band Council term ended at midnight, February 23, 2010, the election date had to be changed because of an omission in the 'mail out' ballots. The Band Manager wil be the 'Interim Administrator' for the Skidegate Band until the Election, which will be held on March 15, 2010, copy of the Band Council Resolution is posted below. Cheque signing authority is: Sue Wood, Lauren Brown and Babs Stevens.

• The following Skidegate Band Council Resolution names the Band Manager as the Interim Authority from midnight February 23, 2010 until election results on March 15, 2010. On March 16, 2010 the newly elected Band Council will resume authority. - Click here for resolution
