VEHICLE REMOVAL
February 17 to April 17, 2012
The Skidegate Band Council has given JP Pineault permission to take all derelict vehicles from Skidegate
between the dates of February 17 to April 17, 2012, the cost for each car is $20.00. If you are interested in having
your old vehicle removed, you can contact Trent Moraes at 250-559-4496, he will contact JP and will ensure that
your vehicle is marked with an X, payment must be made before towing.

NEW LANGUAGE APPLICATION
You may have heard talk about an exciting new development being created to help in learning
the Haida Language - well, the rumours are true! The Skidegate Band Council Education Division
would like to formally announce that, in partnership with the the Elders of the Skidegate Haida
Immersion Program and the provincial First Peoples' Council, we have begun work on an interactive
Hlgaagilda Xaayda Kil dictionary (referred to as an App) for iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad devices.
We intend this App to be released in September 2011.
