Programs & Societies
Medical Travel is a very busy department of the Health Centre. The Medical Travel
Worker is responsible for arranging all medical travel for patients needing to go off-island for appointments and surgeries. This is done based on a policy manual
provided by Health Canada and in conjunction with the Off-Island Referral Clerk in Queen Charlotte and by doctor referrals.
